Check out these great shots from a recent overhaul for Kanata at a site just outside of Grande Prairie, Alberta. The White Superior MW62 compressor was re-cylindered with (1) new 15.75” Stage 1 cylinder and (1) new 9.75” Stage 2 cylinder. The trim level of these new cylinders are suitable for up to 2% sour. This unit features a Superior 6G-825 engine and Air-X-Changer 96AEH aerial cooler which received two new gas sections. The Old Murphy TDXM Exhaust Pyrometer and Pneumatic Panel was replaced with an updated to a CompactLogix PLC. The new purpose-built Stage 1 Scrubber will utilize the current Stage 2 Scrubber instrumentation. The current Stage 1 Scrubber will be relocated and will serve as the new Stage 2 Scrubber.
