Brooks Range Petroleum – Booster

Overview

In late 2014, NEXT – then operating under the legacy title, NGC Compression – was awarded three compressor modules for Brooks Range Petroleum’s Mustang Development Project in Alaska’s North Slope. Having previous experience in Alaska’s challenging market we were able to help consult and plan with Brooks Range Petroleum and their Engineering Partner, ASRC Engineering Services, for this highly technical project.

Design Considerations

• Remote location required strict dimensional constraints
• Remote location required advanced instrumentation and redundancy options to limit potential downtime

Final Product

In addition to the two identical reciprocating compressor modules supplied, NEXT also provided a third VRU module featuring two rotary vanes on a shared skid.
